Graphite used in the manufacturer of magnesia carbon bricks shall be of flake type and having 94% or more fixed carbon. No harmful fillers or oxidants shall be used.

Use of Magnesite Bricks:

The magnesia carbon bricks are used for lining the sidewalls of the Electric Arc Furnace. These bricks are strong enough to withstand the impact of a big explosion or blast. These bricks are able to withstand the high thermo-mechanical stresses encountered in the operations of intense temperatures for a period of 6 working days continuously proving its relatively high resistance.
