1.Phenolic resin mortar is the ones which are mostly used for the construction of Acid resistant bricks and tiles. They are used for the purpose for being resistant to the concentrated hydrochloric acid, non-oxidizing acids, diluted oxidizing acids, solvents and neutral salts. The reason for using them is their temperature resistant property which stretches to a maximum of 170 degrees Celsius.

2. This is the CNSL resin mortar which is considered to be a special kind of mortar that is used for the lining of the acid proof bricks and tiles. It is also called as the cashew nut shell liquid which is quite resistant to alkalis and acids which can also resist the temperature up to 170 degrees.

3. Furan resin mortar is widely used for the purpose of constructing acid resistant bricks and tiles lining works. This is managed further with bedding and jointing mortars for tanks, floors, drains, foundation, chemical reaction vessels and neutralization pits.
These are resistant to non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, salt, solvents, greases, detergents and oils. They are even powerful to resist a temperature of maximum 170 degrees.
