Ceramic Fiber Paper
Ceramic Fiber Paper is an extremely thin, flexible, and lightweight insulation material produced by wet-forming ceramic fiber slurries into uniform sheet form. Despite its deceptively simple appearance, ceramic fiber paper plays a critical role in high-temperature industrial systems — serving as expansion joint filler, gasket material, parting layer between refractory components, and wrapping for heated instrumentation and pipework. Imperial World Trade supplies ceramic fiber paper in multiple thickness options and temperature grades, providing precise insulation solutions where space is severely limited.
- Thickness Range: Available from 1mm to 6mm, allowing precise insulation specification in tight geometric constraints.
- Temperature Grades: Standard alumina-silica grades rated to 1,260°C; high-purity grades available to 1,430°C.
- Excellent Flexibility: Conforms to curved, irregular, and complex surfaces without cracking or tearing during installation.
- Low Thermal Conductivity: Provides effective thermal isolation even at minimal thickness, critical in space-constrained applications.
- Chemical Stability: Resistant to most industrial gases and mildly corrosive chemical atmospheres at elevated temperatures.
- Die-Cutting Capability: Can be precision cut into gaskets, rings, and custom shapes to exact engineering drawings.
Ceramic Fiber Paper from Imperial World Trade is supplied in roll form with consistent thickness and density throughout, ensuring reliable sealing and insulation performance in every application it is specified for.
