Tine Ridger
The Tine Ridger is a specialised tillage and bed-forming implement that uses angled wing-equipped tines or furrowing bodies to simultaneously open a furrow, throw soil laterally, and form the raised bed or ridge profile required for specific crop production systems — including potato, sugarcane, vegetable, and irrigated row crop farming. Ridge and bed formation serves multiple agronomic functions: improving soil drainage around sensitive root zones, increasing the effective rooting depth above the water table or compaction layer, facilitating furrow irrigation between ridges, and providing the loose, well-aerated soil environment that tuberous and root crops require for unobstructed expansion. Imperial World Trade supplies tine ridgers for single-row and multi-row ridge formation across tractor-mounted and two-wheel tractor applications.
- Single & Multi-Row Configurations: Available in single-row through to six-row configurations for matching ridging capacity to tractor horsepower and field operation productivity requirements.
- Adjustable Ridge Width: Lateral wing spread adjustment allows ridge base width to be varied to match target crop row spacing and irrigation furrow geometry requirements.
- Ridge Height Control: Working depth and wing angle adjustment controls the height of the formed ridge profile to meet agronomic requirements of the specific crop system.
- Reversible Wing Points: Hardened, reversible wing point tips extending service life by allowing worn cutting edges to be flipped before replacement is required.
- Robust Tine Shanks: Heavy-section tine shanks with adequate clearance above the implement frame preventing soil and residue blockage during ridge formation in trashy conditions.
- Compatibility: Designed for standard three-point linkage Category I and Category II mounting on tractors from 35 HP to 90 HP depending on row number configuration.
Imperial World Trade supplies tine ridgers with adjustable geometry to accommodate the specific ridge dimensions, row spacings, and soil conditions of your farming system, with full technical specifications provided to confirm compatibility with your available tractor model and hydraulic system before supply.
